Reliable Video Transmission

The P1 Air Unit delivers clear and reliable HD video transmission with up to 200mW output power and a range of over 5km*. With approximately 60ms low latency, it provides a stable and responsive video feed for confident FPV flying.

Standby Mode automatically adjusts transmission power based on the distance between the goggles and drone, helping maintain the video connection even after a crash.

*Real-world testing in open areas at 200mW output achieved transmission distances of over 5km. Actual range may vary depending on environment and interference.

Wide-Angle 1080p Clarity

Equipped with a 1/2.9″ CMOS sensor and wide 170° field of view, the P1 camera delivers detailed 1080p HD video across a wide viewing angle. The combination of high-definition transmission and a wide FOV provides an immersive and responsive FPV experience.

Lightweight HD Design

Wide Compatibility

The P1 Air Unit features a standard SH1.0 6-pin connection and uses MSP communication for OSD support. Use the included 6-pin cable to connect the air unit to your flight controller, and check the connector orientation and wiring sequence against the supplied pin diagram before powering the system.

ArtLynk Protocol

The P1 Air Unit HD VTX operates using the ArtLynk protocol, a low-latency, long-range digital FPV communication system designed for stable HD video transmission with approximately 60ms glass-to-glass latency.

ArtLynk uses Artosyn’s AR803X chipset, with core technology and product solution support provided by KAP. It is designed as a collaborative FPV ecosystem rather than a system limited to a single manufacturer, so multiple FPV brands can develop compatible products.

Firmware Compatibility

For compatibility with third-party ArtLynk devices such as the HGLRC Draco, BETAFPV devices should be updated to firmware V2.0.5 or later. The air unit must be updated through the ground station, and both must be running the same firmware version before completing the update. Firmware V2.0.5 is not compatible with V1 firmware versions including V1.0.36 and V1.0.44.
